Covid-19: Impact on VCRC Services

I wanted to share some important information about our services as we all navigate through these difficult and uncertain times. The Victims of Crime Resource Center (VCRC) team is currently all working remotely to protect the safety of our team, clients, and community.  This is also to ensure that we are doing our part to help stop the spread of COVID-19.  However, we are still fully functioning and continuing to support victims of crime, service providers, and our community across California.

The VCRC statewide hotline/SMS/website chat is fully operational.  As a reminder, our regular hours are Monday through Friday 7 a.m. -7 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.  You can contact us phone/SMS at 1-800-VICTIMS (842-8467) or via chat at www.1800victims.org.

You can visit the California Department of Public Health website for the latest info about Covid-19.  Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if we can be of assistance.

Take care,

Mariam Elmenshawi, Director
